Multi-Modality Tech- Rotating Shifts

How you'll contribute

A Multi-Modality Tech who excels in this role:

  • Performs Radiology and CT studies to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. 
  • Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards as it relates to the care provided to all age groups of patients ranging from infants to geriatric.
  • Maintains efficient and effective department operation while requiring compliance with all JCAHO, federal, and state laws.
  • Is able to perform radiographic and CT (or mammography), for all age groups including: infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Is familiar with the proper procedure for screening patients for contrast risks, injecting contrast, and contrast reactions.
  • Starts IV's using proper technique.
  • Is familiar with the RIS, Teleradiology, and PACS systems.
  • Administers Oral and IV contrast under the direction and supervision of a Radiologist.
  • Work involves potential exposure to ionizing radiation.

What we're looking for: Applicants should be graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Is registered or eligible for registry by the ARRT in Radiography and cross trained in CT/MRI/Mammography or Registered in CT/MRI/Mammography within 12 months of hire. Additional requirements include:

BLS required by completion of hospital orientation.
