Position: Multimodality Technologist
Employment Type: Permanent
Location: Texas
Salary Range: $77,500 – $113,500 per year
Shifts Available: 1 Day Shift Opening, 1 Night Shift Opening

Position Summary:

A healthcare provider in Texas is seeking a qualified and experienced Multimodality Technologist to join their team. This role involves performing imaging procedures across two or more modalities, with a primary focus (50%) in an advanced discipline such as CT. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality patient care and imaging services in accordance with established protocols.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality multimodality imaging procedures in a timely and accurate manner according to established protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients using AIDET principles to ensure understanding and comfort.
  • Prepare patients and exam areas, position equipment, and adjust controls for optimal imaging.
  • Adhere to safety, infection control, and radiation protection guidelines.
  • Use sterile techniques when required and maintain hand hygiene standards.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment; report maintenance issues as needed.
  • Monitor supplies and assist in inventory management.
  • Screen individuals for safe entry into imaging areas according to policy.
  • Ensure all relevant documentation is accurate and complete (e.g., patient history, consent forms, safety protocols).
  • Maintain imaging records in the appropriate systems per departmental standards.

Key Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of experience in both X-ray and CT modalities.
  • Current Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist License.
  • ARRT Certification.
  • Ability to perform imaging procedures independently and efficiently.
