Job description

Resource Innovations is seeking a Multi-Family Property Project Manager for our Energy Savings Assistance program, specifically the Southern Multifamily Whole Building Program. This program provides energy efficiency measures to help renters and property owners lower their energy bills. The Multi-Family Property Project Manager will oversee common area projects within multi-family complexes, collaborating with subcontractors, property management companies, asset managers, and trade allies to ensure compliance with program requirements, timelines, and billing procedures. Candidate must live in California to be considered for this position.

  • Manage common-area energy efficiency projects for the Southern Multifamily Whole Building Program.
  • Coordinate project activities across multifamily properties from initiation through completion.
  • Partner with subcontractors, property management companies, asset managers, and trade allies.
  • Ensure projects comply with program requirements, established timelines, and quality standards.
  • Monitor project documentation, invoicing, and billing procedures for accuracy and completeness.
  • Help deliver energy‑saving improvements that reduce utility costs for renters and property owners.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for participating properties and project partners.
  • Identify and resolve project issues to keep work progressing on schedule.
  • Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • 4 years of related work experience in project coordination, property management, construction coordination, facilities, energy‑efficiency programs, or a related field, including; managing projects, coordinating project lifecycles, or tracking project milestones, coordinating subcontractors, vendors, property stakeholders, or cross‑functional teams.
  • Must be able and willing to commute to RI's Santa Fe Springs office.
  • Normal user knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and project tracking tools or databases.
  • Highly effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple active projects.
  • Ability to coordinate schedules, project milestones, inspections, documentation, and billing requirements.
  • Excellent follow‑through skills and ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
  • Ability to identify project issues, risks, and change orders and coordinate effective resolution.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with subcontractors, property management companies, asset managers, trade allies, and internal teams.
  • Relationship development and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to transfer program requirements into practical implementation protocols.
Preferred
  • Experience working with multi‑family properties, common area improvements, property management companies, or asset managers.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, trade allies, inspections, change orders, and billing documentation.
  • Experience working in energy efficiency, water efficiency, utility programs, construction, facilities, or related field services.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple active projects, maintain accurate records, and provide timely stakeholder updates.
  • Experience supporting customer‑facing or client‑facing projects from kickoff through completion.

Compensation & Benefits

Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position. The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $78,000 - $90,000. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus. The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location.
