Position Title: Maintenance Technician (Multi-Family Property)

Location: TX, El Paso

Description:

The position consists of working as a maintenance technician in all aspects of Tropicana's internal Maintenance Service Company's functions, supporting other Maintenance Teams and the Maintenance Regional Manager.

$14.50 - $25 / Hr. Depending on experience

A maintenance technician must be reliable and have a great eye for detail. Must have technical skills, knowledge of various industry skills such as carpentry, plumbing, appliance repair, HVAC, electrical etc., including but not limited to excel, word, data entry and navigating through mobile applications or via the internet to order materials and supplies Leadership and technologically inclined are a must with todays' advances in technology in the maintenance industry. The goal is to ensure that our properties are always in a presentable, safe, sanitary and sound condition. A detailed summary of skills needed are below.

Position Requirements:

  • Three years of proven experience as maintenance technician or similar role within a similar environment/field.
  • Bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish
  • Strong technical knowledge of plumbing, electrical and appliance repair, evaporative coolers (HVAC a plus)
  • Knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations
  • Knowledgeable of Excel, Word, mobile applications, data entry and internet
  • Strong organizational skills
  • An eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma; Degree or hours from a vocational school will be a plus
  • Valid and current Drivers Licence and Current vehicle insurance
