How much do multi engine instructor jobs pay per hour?
What are the typical daily responsibilities of a multi engine instructor?
A Multi Engine Instructor’s day typically involves preparing lesson plans, conducting both ground school and in-flight training sessions, and assessing student progress through oral exams and flight checks. You’ll work closely with student pilots, providing detailed feedback and ensuring they understand multi-engine procedures, emergency protocols, and regulatory requirements. Coordination with other instructors, school administrators, and maintenance teams is common to ensure smooth training operations. Additionally, you'll keep thorough training records and stay current with industry standards and FAA updates. This dynamic environment offers a rewarding opportunity to develop future pilots while continually enhancing your own expertise.
What is a multi engine instructor?
A Multi Engine Instructor (MEI) is a certified flight instructor specializing in teaching pilots how to operate aircraft with more than one engine. MEIs provide training on advanced flight techniques, emergency procedures, engine-out operations, and multi-engine aerodynamics. They prepare pilots for multi-engine ratings and ensure they develop the skills necessary to safely operate complex aircraft. MEIs must have a Commercial Pilot License with a Multi-Engine Instructor rating and significant flight experience.
What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the multi engine instructor position, and why are they important?
To thrive as a Multi Engine Instructor, you need in-depth knowledge of multi-engine aircraft operations, strong instructional abilities, and a current Certified Flight Instructor—Multi Engine (CFI-ME) rating. Familiarity with advanced flight simulators, aviation training management systems, and compliance with FAA regulations are essential. Excellent communication, patience, and situational awareness help you mentor students and respond effectively to in-flight challenges. These skills support effective training, ensure safety, and contribute to student success in complex flight environments.

Job description
Unlike legacy systems built to route and answer, or standalone agentic bot vendors built to deflect, Dialpad was built to resolve. Our AI agents and human agents operate on a single platform with shared context, allowing Agentic AI to resolve issues, advance deals, and eliminate busywork through automation while seamlessly handing conversations to humans when needed, with full context preserved.
Market-leading brands, including Randstad, Motorola Solutions, Netflix, the San Diego Padres, the Colorado Rockies Baseball Club, and Cal Athletics, trust Dialpad. Dialpad is backed by Andreessen Horowitz, GV, ICONIQ Capital, and T-Mobile.
Being a Dialer
At Dialpad, AI isn't just a feature; it's how our teams do their best work every day. We put powerful AI tools in every employee's hands so they can move faster, think bigger, and achieve more.
We believe every conversation matters. And we've built the platform that turns those conversations into insight and action, for our customers and ourselves.
We look for people who are intensely curious and hold themselves to a high bar. Our ambition is significant, and achieving it requires a team that operates at the highest level. We seek individuals who embody our core traits: Scrappy, Curious, Optimistic, Persistent, and Empathetic.
Your Role
Dialpad's Channel Programs team is the engine behind our global partner ecosystem. We're looking for a Partner Technical Engineer to own the technical enablement experience for Dialpad's partner network: designing and delivering hands-on workshops, building lab environments, certifying partners on our latest products, and driving the pipeline that flows from a well-trained partner base.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role at the intersection of technical depth and teaching. You'll work closely with Channel Sales, Channel SE, PSO, and Product teams to translate Dialpad's product roadmap into partner-ready training programs - from our CDP 2.0 certification tracks, Agentic AI bootcamps, Global Lunch & Learns, and Global Summits.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end delivery of technical workshops, bootcamps, and summits across NA, EMEA, and ANZ.
- Coordinate workshop staffing, instructor resources, and logistics for 20+ major events per year.
- Manage marketing launch coordination and drive channel-driven attendance and registration for every event.
- Lead the Lunch & Learn roadshow series, currently active across 18 NA cities.
- Develop comprehensive lab guides with subject-matter experts across all product families.
- Set up and maintain hands-on lab environments used in live training events.
- Create and maintain technical playbooks for each product family (Connect, CX, Agentic AI, Managed Services).
- Own technical LMS content within Docebo, keeping certification material current with product releases.
- Deliver Capstone certification grading and validation across all four CDP 2.0 tracks, plus bi-annual recertification.
- Validate new product introductions (NPI) and coordinate content updates with SE teams.
- Instrument event-to-pipeline attribution: measure ROI and training effectiveness per event and report results to leadership.
- Support the goal of 100% Strategic Partner certification by the end of Q2 FY27 and 50 Agentic-certified partners by year-end.
Skills you'll bring
- 3+ years in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, partner enablement, or technical training role.
- Strong hands-on experience with UCaaS, CCaaS, or cloud communications platforms - Dialpad product knowledge is a plus.
- Proven ability to teach and facilitate complex technical concepts to mixed-skill audiences.
- Experience building and running lab environments for training or certification programs.
- Excellent project management skills - you can run a multi-city event calendar without dropping a ball.
- Comfortable owning outcomes: you track pipeline attribution, survey results, and certification completion, not just event attendance.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills; experience presenting to partner leadership.
- Willingness to travel ~50+% for in-person events across NA, EMEA, and ANZ.
Why Join Dialpad
- Work at the center of the AI transformation in business communications
- Build and ship agentic AI products that are redefining how companies operate
- Join a team where AI amplifies every employee's impact
- Competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and real opportunities for growth
We believe in investing in our people. Dialpad offers competitive benefits and perks, cutting-edge AI tools, and a robust training program that help you reach your full potential. We have designed our offices to be inclusive, offering a vibrant environment to cultivate collaboration and connection. Our exceptional culture, repeatedly recognized as a Great Place to Work, ensures that every employee feels valued and empowered to contribute to our collective success.
Don't meet every single requirement? If you're excited about this role and possess the fundamental traits, drive, and strong ambition we seek, but your experience doesn't meet every qualification, we encourage you to apply.
Dialpad is an equal-opportunity employer. We are dedicated to creating a community of inclusion and an environment free from discrimination or harassment.
