    LEAD GUEST SERVICE ATTENDANT JOB DESCRIPTION

    Reports to: Food and Beverage Manager | FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time or Part-Time



    POSITION OVERVIEW

    The Front of House Lead is a critical player in our restaurant's success, bringing energy and leadership to every shift. You'll be part of the Food and Beverage leadership team, keeping the wheels turning smoothly behind the scenes and on the floor. When the Food and Beverage Manager is not around, you’re in charge—making sure every guest’s experience is seamless from the moment they walk in until they leave with a smile. If you love the buzz of a busy restaurant, have a knack for management, and are all about creating memorable dining experiences, this role is made for you.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    FOOD AND BEVERAGE

    • Interact with guests, take orders, and serve food and drinks
    • Act as a representative of Mulligan's excellent customer service standards
    • Assess guest needs and preferences to make recommendations
    • Seat guests in the outdoor patio, ensuring a smooth flow for the kitchen staff
    • Check the guest's identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age
    • Perform inventory control on all food and beverage items
    • Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
    • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
    • Keep areas clean and tidy
    • Credit card handling
    • Managing the Toast POS system in both the front of the house and the back of the house
    • Troubleshoot the Toast POS System
    • Resolve golf simulator reservation conflicts
    • Communicate effectively with Cooks, Guest Attendants, and Barkeepers
    • Adhere to all Alpen Bluffs standard open and close procedures
    • Adhere to all Alpen Bluffs Policies and Procedures
    • Complete end-of-night cash reconciliations
    • Ensure food and drink orders are accurately entered into the restaurant's POS system.
    • Run sales reports in the POS system
    • Ensure all Team Members on duty uphold daily expectations
    • Check food and drink quality
    • Assist with inventory control for all areas of Mulligans at the Bluffs
    • Assisting the kitchen with expo services during busy times
    • Complete daily business reports
    • Other duties as assigned.

    GOLF SIMULATOR RESPONSILITIES

    • Check in guests for the golf simulators.
    • Administer golf club rentals.
    • Ensure the Golf Pro or League Administrator has everything needed for leagues and special events.
    • Start up, shut down, and troubleshoot the golf simulators.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Proven experience as a restaurant server
    • Excellent knowledge of both front-of-house and back-of-house operations
    • Foodservice knowledge
    • Computer Literacy
    • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
    • Ability to keep the entire establishment organized, stocked, and clean.
    • Relevant training certifications (TIPS and ServSafe preferred).
    • Comfortably handling payments from guests.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills
    • Availability to work nights up to 1 am EST and weekend days
