Job Description: Must Have: Mulesoft, Backstage 8 years of relevant experience Advanced project management and execution skills Knowledge on building APIs and developer facing products Excellent communicator Detail-oriented Ability to execute in a large, matrixed organization Good interpersonal skills Secure and maintain applicable licenses Responsibilities: Collaboration between Technology and Product partners to provide clients' developers a unified, end-to-end set of capabilities and experiences. Developing and executing the strategy and roadmap for the external facing API program Support internal and external benchmarking and competitive intelligence activity Setting and enforcing API standards and a governance process within the Domain The Program Manager will plan and execute the overall API Governance strategy, establishing and managing the API related policies, standards and procedures in a way that reduces complexity for customers and improves Client employee productivity Define the long-term roadmap and success metrics for the API governance program and build a team to deliver it Promote a culture of customer-centricity, accountability, and innovation for APIs Work with Technology, Info Security, Standards and the Businesses to formalize an API standards and governance framework across the portfolio of user-facing APIs Establish and maintain benchmarks for quality and performance for all APIs Partner with engineering to implement processes, controls and tools that facilitate the API lifecycle design, publishing and maintenance and improve internal developer productivity Define "playbook" of best practices and SOPs for client-impacting processes and communications Find creative ways to socialize API governance with cross-functional and globally distributed teams at Client, ranging from software engineers to senior executives Engage and reward teams for improvements Develop and distribute ongoing reporting
