As a delivery driver, you will be the face of our company. It will be your job to consistently exceed customer expectations by making sure all orders are delivered with a smile, on time, safely, and to the right location. Currently, we are looking to fill full-time driving positions in Plymouth, MA.

Job Description

Delivery Driver Associate Responsibilities:

1. Loading and Unloading: Loading packages into the delivery vehicle and unloading them at the designated delivery location.
2. Navigation: Using GPS or maps to navigate the delivery vehicle to the destination.
3. Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service to Amazon customers by answering questions, addressing concerns, and delivering packages with a positive attitude.
4. Vehicle Inspection: Ensuring that the delivery vehicle is well-maintained and in good working condition, reporting any issues or concerns to management.
5. Safety: Adhering to safety guidelines and protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment when necessary.
6. Time Management: Managing time effectively to ensure packages are delivered on time.
7. Reporting: Reporting any delivery issues, discrepancies or delays to the appropriate personnel.
8. Teamwork: Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient and effective delivery of packages.
9. Rules and Regulations: Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies.

Qualifications

Delivery Driver Requirements:

We provide on-the-job training so that all of our employees feel confident on the road and the doorsteps of customers. Health and safety are always a top priority for Amazon and the Delivery Service Partners Amazon contracts with. In partnership with one another, Amazon and the DSPs continue to consult with medical and health experts, and take all recommended precautions to keep everyone healthy.

  • Be at least 21 years of age with the ability to read and speak English for safety
  • Have a valid driver's license within the state of employment.
  • Be able to operate and navigate a delivery van, weighing 10,000 lbs. or more (you do not need to provide your own vehicle)
  • Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must accept text messages from Company managers and other authorized Company employees regarding your schedule, performance, and other Company matters on your personal cell phone.
