We are seeking a highly organized, data-driven, and compassionate MTSS Teacher to join our instructional team. Partner with SMART Management and BridgePrep Academy in our mission to provide targeted, high-quality academic intervention. In this role, you will ensure students receive the critical support necessary to close learning gaps, master grade-level standards, and achieve long-term academic success.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Targeted Instruction: Plan and deliver standards-aligned, highly differentiated Tier 2 and Tier 3 intervention lessons to small groups of students performing below grade level.

  • Data & Progress Monitoring: Collect, analyze, and maintain meticulous progress-monitoring data to accurately track student growth and pivot instructional frameworks with fidelity.

  • MTSS Collaboration: Actively participate in problem-solving discussions, providing clean documentation to support MTSS meetings and identifying students who may require additional ESE, 504, or ELL evaluation.

  • Classroom Culture: Establish consistent routines and implement schoolwide behavior systems with fidelity, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.

  • Professionalism: Maintain 100% compliance on all data reports, lesson plan submissions, and documentation timelines while actively engaging in schoolwide PD and coaching sessions.

MEASURABLE YEAR 1 SUCCESS METRICS
  • 70%+ of assigned students demonstrate grade-level mastery in core content.

  • 80%+ of Tier 2 students show measurable, documented growth toward their specific intervention goals.

  • 100% of MTSS compliance documentation is submitted accurately and on time.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited educational institution.

  • Certification: Valid or eligible Florida Professional or Temporary Teaching Certification.

  • Endorsement: Reading Endorsement.

  • Mindset: Strong organizational, communication, and small-group management skills; deep alignment with our mission.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience implementing Tier 2/Tier 3 interventions or navigating the formal MTSS framework.

  • Note: All final candidates will be asked to arrange three professional reference checks, including one with a former manager.
