Job Description

Administrator to oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive MTSS system at the Junior and Senior High Schools - Administrative certification is flexible.

  • Developing systems for reviewing data and determining intervention needs
  • Developing systems for selection of research-based interventions and progress monitoring tools
  • Developing systems for data collection, reporting, and analysis
  • Training staff in delivery of interventions and progress monitoring techniques
  • Monitoring and supporting high-leverage Tier I instructional practices in classrooms
  • Monitoring and supporting implementation of Tier II strategies in the classroom setting
  • Work collaboratively with building administrators to establish classroom/building expectations for the MTSS process
  • Facilitate staff development, CPT, and school-wide meetings as appropriate
  • Staff evaluation

Job Requirements
  • Must have demonstrated leadership experience and comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the MTSS process - inlcuding high-leverage instructional practices in the classroom setting.
  • Must hold an appropriate administrative certificate in RI (Building Administrator, Special Education Director, Curriculum Director, etc.)
  • At least 10 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
  • Master degree preferred.
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
