Job description

We are seeking a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join a dedicated team serving children, adults, and families in the Roxbury community.

The mission is to strengthen mental, emotional, and social wellbeing for underserved and diverse populations through compassionate, culturally competent care.

Responsibilities:
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy to clients of all ages, including psychosocial assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop treatment plans that support client goals
• Collaborate with medical providers, therapists, and members of the care team to ensure coordinated and effective care
• Engage in community outreach and build relationships with community partners to enhance services
• Supervise and support a team of case managers, LICSW social workers, MSW interns, and community health workers
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards
• Contribute to program development that supports mental health services for children, families, immigrants, refugees, and underserved communities

Requirements:
• Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from an accredited institution
• Active Massachusetts LICSW license in good standing
• Minimum of 3–5 years of outpatient therapy experience working with diverse populations
• Experience working with immigrant or refugee communities is preferred
• Spanish language proficiency or ability to work with additional languages is a plus
