Duties
This clinical position requires a strong commitment to teaching and diversity while incorporating technology and innovation in the delivery of instruction. Candidates must be able to work actively and collegially with department faculty. Other related faculty responsibilities may be performed as required. New hires also receive orientation and mentoring to the program. Instructor orientations to hospital and the course are compensated.
Education/Experience
Requires a Master's degree (MSN) in Nursing and Unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in IL. 2 years or 2000+ hours work experience in field required. Recent clinical experience and/or teaching experience in a community college nursing program preferred.
Qualifications
Recent clinical experience and teaching experience in a community college nursing program preferred. A willingness to learn and expand to new content areas is a plus. Courses include medical surgical, obstetrics, and mental health clinical opportunities in the Associate Degree Nursing Program, as well as others.
