Job description

Scientist, RCM Analytical DevelopmentWhat Youโ€™ll Do
  • Advance analytical development for cell therapy programs, primarily lentiviral vectors (LVVs)
  • Strengthen existing and establish new biophysical methods to characterize LVVs
  • Analyze, interpret, and clearly present complex datasets to technical and cross-functional audiences
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across RCM to troubleshoot, align on priorities, and support program execution
  • Author and review technical documentation (assay protocols, method development reports, data summaries)
  • Maintain complete, timely, compliant electronic lab notebook records; support instrument upkeep; independently troubleshoot equipment and assays
Must-haves
  • BS/MS in Biophysics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field; 6โ€“8+ yearsโ€™ experience characterizing and quantitatively analyzing lentiviral vectors
  • Ability to work independently to design experiments and interpret, document, and communicate results
  • Self-motivated, proactive, able to prioritize and drive work with minimal supervision
Preferred / Nice-to-haves
  • Experience with particle sizing/counting biophysical techniques (e.g., DLS, MRPS, fluorescent labeling assays)
  • Knowledge of viral vector biology, design, process, and gene delivery mechanisms
