Reliance One is seeking a highly skilled Senior Access Database Developer to join a manufacturing organization focused on digital transformation, advanced analytics, and operational excellence. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for an experienced Senior Access Database Developer who enjoys designing enterprise database solutions, developing applications, and transforming manufacturing data into actionable business insights.


As a Senior Access Database Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining manufacturing databases, reporting systems, dashboards, and user applications that support plant operations, engineering, quality, maintenance, and leadership.

Senior Access Database Developer Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise databases supporting manufacturing reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making

• Modify existing databases and develop new database solutions from concept through deployment

• Design database architecture, data structures, governance standards, and documentation

• Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, database logic, and reporting tables

• Install, configure, maintain, and support database environments across manufacturing operations

• Develop dashboards and visualizations using Qlik Sense to monitor manufacturing KPIs, downtime, bottlenecks, and production performance

• Analyze manufacturing data to identify opportunities for operational improvements and throughput optimization

• Develop applications and user interfaces that collect, manage, and display operational data

• Integrate data from multiple systems to create reliable, centralized reporting solutions

• Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, Quality, ICT, and plant leadership to deliver scalable digital solutions

• Troubleshoot database and application issues while supporting continuous system improvements

• Contribute to future digital transformation initiatives, including predictive analytics, machine learning, and manufacturing automation


Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• 3–5 years of database development experience

• Advanced SQL experience, including complex queries, stored procedures, database optimization, and reporting solutions

• Experience with Python, ASP.NET, VBA, Qlik Sense, HTML, and CSS

• Experience developing and maintaining large, complex databases with high data integrity and performance requirements

• Strong understanding of database architecture, data modeling, normalization, and system integration

• Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace


Preferred Qualifications:

• Manufacturing experience

• Experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, C++, Java, or VB.NET

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
