Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst for an Onsite position with a Major Financial Services Firm located in Minneapolis, MN. This is a 6+ month contract to hire opportunity. Compensation: $62.60 - $72.60 per hour, W2, based on qualifications Position Overview: This role involves analyzing stakeholder requirements to identify automation opportunities and improve workflows. The successful candidate will drive requirements discovery, manage documentation using tools like Jira and AI agents, and support testing activities within a financial services operations environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform stakeholder requirements analysis to identify impacted or influencing groups Develop plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements Identify unnecessary manual work, document workflows, and look for automation opportunities Manage risks, assumptions and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate parties Lead requirements prioritization and leverage techniques to drive out business priorities Facilitate collaborative sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review Analyze and document scope of the business solution and detailed business and system solution requirements Verify requirements for quality and validate requirements with the impacted stakeholders Build and maintain a repository of reusable requirements documentation Communicate the impact of changes through cost-benefit analysis Support QA in development of the Functional System test cases Support UAT and PIV activities including planning, defect triage, and root-cause analysis for requirements-related issues Review, analyze and evaluate user needs to create systems solutions that support business strategies Develop test conditions to validate business requirements and execute UAT scripts Primary Requirements: MS Access experience (understand how Access works, follow data through the system, reverse engineer current reporting, and understand how reports are merged) - Not a Developer role 5 years of strong business analyst skills in eliciting, gathering, and documenting requirements Proven systems analyst skills to create user stories for application development Experience with Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint AI experience to the level of providing examples of how AI is used in life or work; will be using AI agents to help build requirements and document Must be a driver, confident, and able to challenge existing processes professionally Desired Skills: Someone who has worked in operations for a financial services company or someone who has partnered with operations Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
