Job description

TITLE: Database Engineer with TS/SCI with Poly CLEARANCE: Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph RATE RANGE: $95/hr - $120/hr W2 **Depends on experience and benefits chosen** LOCATION: Onsite in Aurora, CO 80011 (no relocation package) DURATION: Contract to Hire ***No C2C, we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors, and we can NOT do 1099-US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED*** GeoLogics is currently seeking a Principal Database Administrator to join a talented team that develops enhancements and modifications to existing software systems. The successful candidate will provide database administration to high priority infrastructure/systems. RESPONSIBILITIES Database administration of servers in cluster and container environments running a variety of applications to include Ubuntu Linux.

Work will include refinement of database architecture design, installation, configuration, maintenance, and urgent troubleshooting efforts. Perform administrative and maintenance tasks on PostGRES databases. Perform planning, coordination, and execution of database installations and upgrades and patches.

Respond to all database related work requests, including working with system maintainers, system engineering analysis, and integration efforts. Maintain and update design and database schema documentation. The work environment fluctuates between routine and urgent, depending on ongoing tasks, priorities, and performance of assigned systems.
