MRI Technologist (Contract)

Location: New York
Pay Rate: $2,302 โ€“ $2,581
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (Weekend Days)

  • Saturday, Sunday, Monday: 7:00 AM โ€“ 7:30 PM
    Additional: Holidays, on-call, and callback as needed


Position Summary & Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI scans and operate imaging equipment (GE scanners required)

  • Prepare and position patients; explain procedures for comfort and safety

  • Coordinate with physicians to ensure timely diagnostic imaging results

  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient confidentiality

  • Support patient care, including IV insertion when required


Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years MRI Technologist experience

  • ARRT Certification: Required/Preferred

  • BLS (AHA only): Required

  • New York State Radiologic Technologist License: Required (or willing to obtain)

  • Experience with GE MRI scanners required

  • Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care
