Job description

Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: Washington, DC 20037
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 4×10-Hour Day Shifts
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on facility requirements
Requirements:
  • Must live at least 50 miles away from the facility
  • Minimum 2 years of acute care MRI experience
  • MRI Lead experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology program required
  • BS or MS in Healthcare preferred
  • ARRT (MR) certification required
  • BLS certification (AHA) required

Job Summary:
The MRI Technologist performs MRI procedures following established protocols while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging. This role supports departmental operations, maintains MRI equipment and work areas, and follows all magnetic safety guidelines. The technologist may also serve as a resource for MRI students and staff.
