Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

At the discretion of the MRI technologists, assist in the performance of technical/clerical duties.  Assist with facilitating work flow; will perform patient screening and patient preparation.  This position also serves as a safety screener for the MRI department.  Must be able to work with minimal supervision and direction.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:  High school graduate or GED, or higher preferred.

Experience:  MRI experience preferred.

Knowledge and Skills: Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.  Able to lift and transfer patients using accepted techniques. Must be capable of performing multiple tasks, and have basic typing skills.

License and Certifications:  Requires current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR card.

Equipment:  Personal Computer, RIS, HIS, Microsoft Office suite.

Physical Requirements:  Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.

PAY RANGE

$21.00 - $29.12

The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change.  Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills.  For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
