MRI Technologist - Per Diem (Relief)

Shift: Per Diem, Variable

    • Pay range: $46.99-$69.98/hr. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc
    • 15% differential in lieu of benefits
    • Additional shift differentials to recognize and reward you for taking on harder-to-fill shifts:
      • Evenings: +$3.50/hr
      • Nights: +$5.00/hr
      • Weekends: +$1.00/hr

What You'll Do
  • Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies for MRI exams
  • Manage your workflow and assist with basic clerical tasks
  • Review imaging history, labs, and patient information to ensure high-quality results
  • Collaborate with physicians to select appropriate exams
  • Guide and support patients before and after their procedure
  • Adjust imaging techniques based on patient needs and findings
  • Operate MRI equipment and follow all quality and safety standards
  • Follow ACR MRI safety guidelines
  • Provide training to colleagues or students as needed
  • Carry out duties appropriate to your role and licensure

What You Bring
Education
Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent education and/or experience as required for obtaining certification/license/registration as required by State for clinical practice
Experience
1 year of experience preferred
Skills & Competencies
  • Ability to provide age-appropriate care
  • Venipuncture skills
  • Strong knowledge of MRI terminology, procedures, physiology, and anatomy
  • Ability to use MRI software and computer applications
  • PACS/RIS experience

Credentials
  • ARRT certification in Radiography, MRI, Sonography, Nuclear Medicine, or ARMRIT
  • ARRT (MR) within 6 months of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
