Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

MRI Technologist II

Position Highlights:

  • Position: MRI Technologist II
  • Sign on bonus: $10,000
  • Location:Glenbrook Hospital
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full time
  • Hours: M-F 11am-7pm, rotating weekends
  • Required Travel: yes

What you will do:

  • Perform MRI exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures
  • Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
  • Review MRI images to ensure optimum quality
  • Assist with patient/family participation in post-procedural care for all age groups and provide resource information, as directed

What you will need:

  • Education:Certification or Associate's degree in Radiology from an accredited program
  • Certification:CPR required, ARRT- MR or ARMRIT
  • License: IEMA (not required)
  • Experience:Previous MRI Technologist experience required
  • Preferred Skills:Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
