MRI Technologist PRN

Do you have the PRN career opportunities as an MRI Technologist you want with your current employer? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Menorah Medical Center which is part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The MRI Technologist performs routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems and blood flow studies. The MRI Tech presents images and patient information/history to the Radiologist so that a comprehensive diagnostic report is available to referring physician.

What you will do in this role:

  • You will compassionately assist and position patients.
  • You will start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
  • You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
  • You will release patients with proper post procedure instructions.
  • You will turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
  • You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Graduate of an accredited school or college with certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
  • Current registration/licensure/certification in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography required and current certification in MRI preferred. If not currently registered in MRI, must become MRI registered within six months of hire date.
  • BLS required upon hire
  • Prior experience in a similar sized facility with similar services preferred.
  • On Call required and must have the ability to report to the facility within one hour of call back.
