Job description

MRI Technologist – General MRI

Schedule: Thurs–Sat, 10:00–22:30

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13+ weeks

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years MRI experience required
  • Travel experience required
  • ARRT MR certification required
  • ARRT Radiography certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Experience with Epic EHR required
  • Preferred: Experience with Phillips equipment

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform general MRI exams including MSK, neurological, and general body cases.
  • Administer contrast media and perform peripheral IV starts as needed.
  • Operate MRI equipment, including GE scanners and PACS systems.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures during imaging procedures.

Compliance / Notes:

  • Orientation: 36 hours
  • RTO up to 7 days max, must be pre-approved; no RTO during the first week.
  • Must work two of three major holidays.
  • Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions allowed.
