Job Title: MRI Technologist
Profession: Radiology

License: Active Illinois license or confirmation of application process
Certifications: BLS, RTR
Must-Have:
Knowledge of operating GE MRI scanners 1.5T (450W) and 3T (750W)
Understanding of MRI safety guidelines
Ability to start IVs
Familiarity with standard acquisition sequences for MRI scanning
Description:
This position is for an MRI Technologist in the Radiology department.
The role involves operating MRI scanners and ensuring patient safety.
Technologists are expected to have knowledge of MRI safety guidelines and the ability to start IVs.
Experience with standard acquisition sequences for MRI procedures is required.
There is a need to work with outpatients, in-patients, and emergency department patients.
Technologists must dress in standard solid colored scrubs and cover tattoos.
One weekend shift per month is required, with potential holiday shifts as well.
This position does not involve floating to other areas.
There are no call or standby requirements.
The work is within an acute care setting.
Candidates should be aware that drug screening is mandatory, as this is a drug-free campus.
