Job description

Pay Range: $34.21 - $51.31 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education. HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital is seeking a MRI Technologist to join our Imaging team. Under the direction of the radiologist, the MRI Technologist performs high-quality MRI procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care while following physician orders, accurately positioning patients, preparing and operating MRI equipment, and ensuring quality images are obtained for interpretation. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates at the MRI Technologist I and MRI Technologist II levels will be considered. Placement and compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and meeting position requirements.

  • Schedule: Full Time, Evening shift, 36โ€“40 hours/week. Open to 5 - 8 hour shifts or 4 - 9hour shifts. Evening schedules vary between 2:00pm-midnight. No weekends required. On-call rotation includes one night per week from 11:00pm-6:00am.

Education Qualifications (MRI Tech II)

Associates degree in allied health, applied/radiologic science or certificate program is required.

Experience Qualifications (MRI Tech II)

2 years of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) experience is required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations (MRI Tech II)
  • Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) credential.
  • Certification as a Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Certification as a Registered Technologist by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Education Qualifications (MRI Tech I)

Associates degree in allied health, applied/radiologic science or certificate program is required.

1 year of Radiology Technology experience preferred.
