Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday (Weekdays Only) Plus Call 
Schedule Options: 312s | 410s | 58s
 

Position Overview

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced and motivated MRI Technologist to join our Imaging Services team at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - College Station. This full-time position offers flexible weekday scheduling options, and the opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

What You'll Do
  • Perform high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.

  • Produce clear, accurate diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.

  • Utilize AIDET communication to ensure patients feel informed, safe, and comfortable.

  • Prepare and position patients while adjusting equipment settings for optimal imaging results.

  • Maintain strict compliance with MRI safety, infection control, and patient protection standards.

  • Assist with invasive and multimodality procedures using proper sterile techniques.

  • Maintain MRI equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and optimal performance.

  • Collaborate with engineers, physicists, radiologists, and nursing staff to support quality imaging services.

  • Verify patient documentation, including requisitions, history, and safety screenings.

  • Maintain accurate imaging records in PACS and EMR systems.

  • Assist with inventory management and workflow improvement initiatives.

  • Participate in call coverage, if required.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Graduate of an accredited MRI or Radiologic Technology program preferred

Experience

  • Less than one year of experience required

  • Hospital MRI experience preferred

Certification / Licensure

  • One of the following required:

    • ARRT (MR) - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

    • ARRT (R) - Radiography

    • ARMRIT - American Registry of MRI Technologists

  • Texas Medical Board (MRT) License (as applicable)

  • BLS Certification within 30 days of hire
