Job Description: Assembly Bonder

Location: San Jose, CA

Department: Assembly

Reports To: Assembly Supervisor

Summary:

The expert Assembly Bonder will be part of a team of assembly operators and perform various electronics manufacturing processes in a cleanroom environment. This role requires pay attention to detail, ability to work with a complex Hybrid, work in a clean room environment, work independently and show initiative. Micross HiRel is a leader in high-reliability, rad hard and ruggedized power management solutions for space, military and aerospace, national security programs and other harsh environment applications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual on K/S 4524A Gold Ball bond machine
  • Perform auto wire bonding on ASM E60 machine
  • Perform manual and auto wire bonding on Paloma Model # 2460 V machine
  • Inspect, test, and verify bonding
  • Utilize tweezers, microscopes, and other small tools to complete assembly
  • Interpret procedures, blueprints, and other drawings to aid in assembly of components
  • Prior experience with MIL-STD-883 and electronic assembly is highly preferred
  • Ability to work under high and low microscopes is required
  • Ability to work in a clean room environment wearing ESD clothing is required
  • Ability to wear a full-face Respirator when cleaning parts in the Degreasers
  • Other duties requested by the Supervisor or Manager.

Other Duties & Responsibilities:

  • MFG experience in Space Hybrid/PCB production environment.
  • Working a clean room environment
  • Utilize software tools such as Expandable, QPulse, MS Office, and administrative, informational, and operational tasks.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
  • Team player with interpersonal skills.
  • Three (3) or more years of hybrid assembly process.
  • Must have strong manual dexterity and be able to use small tools.
  • Knowledge of industry standards such Mr. Green and MIL-STD-883.
  • Comprehend procedures/documentations/drawings.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Independent worker, detailed oriented, and self-motivated.
  • handling multiple priorities and multi-tasking
