Job description

We’re looking for a dependable CDL B Operator to support industrial cleaning operations by safely transporting equipment and performing hands-on fieldwork at customer sites. This role combines driving responsibilities with physical labor and requires a strong commitment to safety and operational efficiency.

 

What You’ll Bring

What You’ll Do

  • Operate company vehicles requiring a CDL Class B in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Transport equipment and crew members safely to and from job sites.
  • Arrive at job sites on time, in uniform, and ready to perform assigned duties.
  • Set up industrial cleaning equipment including water blasting and vacuum systems.
  • Operate water blasting equipment such as hoses, guns, and lances for cleaning applications.
  • Operate wet and dry vacuum systems using large-diameter hoses to remove debris and waste.
  • Perform manual labor tasks using tools such as shovels, picks, and other hand equipment.
  • Follow all MPW Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Work in confined spaces and industrial environments while maintaining safety compliance.
  • Clean, inspect, and maintain equipment prior to returning to the branch.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding job progress and safety conditions.
  • Travel to various job sites, including out-of-state assignments as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs.

 

What You’ll Need

  • Valid CDL Class B license with acceptable driving record in accordance with company standards.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant experience may be considered.
  • 2–3 years of experience operating commercial vehicles, industrial equipment, or performing manual labor preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform continuous physical work
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb, and work in confined spaces regularly.
  • Ability to wear respirators and required PPE in environments with exposure to dust, chemicals, fumes, and extreme temperatures.
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods (days to weeks), work overtime, and maintain a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
