Job description

RTX is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) for the AIM‑9X program to be located onsite in Tucson, Arizona. The MPM will be an individual contributor who works directly with the supply base and requires strong knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and project and material management.

What You Will Do
  • Own the overall supply chain for production suppliers.
  • Develop and execute strategies to fulfill the program’s material needs.
  • Lead robust and challenging schedule conflicts to meet program objectives.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and realize sales and financial metrics.
  • Resolve production MPM team issues and conflict resolution.
  • Commit to obtaining MPM certification after gaining experience in the role.
QualificationsRequired
  • University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Experience with supply‑chain planning and forecasting.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Preferred
  • Professional experience with project, program, product, finance and/or supplier management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Leadership abilities and capability to work in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment.
  • Self‑starter who can achieve organizational and program objectives.
  • Excellent time‑management skills and the ability to assign priorities to multiple tasks.
Salary

USD 107,500 – 204,500 (based on experience, qualifications, and role)
