Mowing Tractor Operator – NAS Pensacola (Grounds Maintenance)

Allserv, Inc. – Pensacola, FL Full‑Time - $25.94/hr • Monday–Friday • Base Access Required

About the Position

Allserv, Inc. is hiring an experienced Mowing Tractor Operator to support our grounds‑maintenance contract at Naval Air Station Pensacola. This role performs large‑scale mowing, material transport, grading, and site maintenance using wheel‑mounted tractors and attached implements with precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate wheel‑mounted tractors and attachments (finish mower, brush hog, box blade, trailer, spreader, sprayer, etc.).
  • Perform large‑area mowing, clearing, grading, and material movement across assigned zones.
  • Tow and maneuver trailers and equipment safely on base roads and work areas.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections, basic maintenance, and report issues promptly.
  • Follow NAS Pensacola safety procedures, environmental rules, and base access requirements.
  • Maintain safe distances from personnel, vehicles, structures, and flight‑line‑adjacent areas.
  • Assist crew leads with site tasks when equipment operation is not required.

Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience operating tractors or similar equipment (commercial, agricultural, or municipal).
  • Ability to safely operate tractors with multiple attachments.
  • Valid REAL ID driver’s license and ability to meet base access requirements.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather - extreme heat, humidity, rain, cold, wind.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and professional
  • Authorized to work in the United States
$25.94 per hour - Normal work hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with the occasional Saturday.
