Job description

Schedule

7:30 am to 5:30 pm, some Saturdays and overtime as required


Job Duties

  • Operate commercial Zero Turn mowers according to company specification for cut and height
  • Perform string trimming and edging at job sites
  • Utilize backpack blowers to clean surfaces after mowing and trimming is complete
  • Transport equipment using a Tender Lawn Care truck and trailer
  • Work in a safe, efficient, and timely manner
  • May work alone or oversee other crew members
  • Ensure each jobsite is completed to site specification and Tender Lawn Care's quality expectations
  • Give directions and assign work at jobsites


Qualifications

  • Attention to detail and an eye for excellence
  • Ability to be on time and stay until the day's work is complete
  • 2+ years of previous commercial mowing experience
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Ability to manage workload and work independently
  • Must be able to communicate with others in an effective and positive way
  • Possess an open mind towards learning and taking direction; we do things differently at Tender Lawn Care


Physical requirements

  • Stand, bend and kneel for extended periods of time
  • Lift a minimumof 50 pounds often
  • Work extended hours
  • Work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a high standard of quality
  • Work in suboptimal weather conditions
