Job description

Studdard Moving Group is looking for commercial and residential movers and laborers to help with our customer moves. The mover is responsible for loading materials onto truck or trailer at origin and loading or unloading materials at destination site. Ability to drive a straight truck (non CDL) or van will pay higher wage. .

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Loads truck, distributing weight evenly, forming compact load, and utilizing space.
  • Ability to take direction and complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; driver’s training school helpful

Experience/Knowledge

  • Must be able to get on military post(s) (Real ID Required)
  • Must be able to pass a background check  
  • Experience with tools, power tools, and ability to operate fork lift a plus
  • Good decision making skills
  • Ability to perform job with limited supervision
  • Preference given to those who can safely drive a truck (non-CDL) or transit van
