The impact you'll make in this role

As a Contract Specialist you'll work alongside sharp, inquisitive minds from a wide spectrum of backgrounds and disciplines. Together, you'll explore new ideas, challenge assumptions, and shape solutions that make a real-world impact by:

Youwillassistin the preparation, development, and processing of commercial contracts, amendments, and pricing agreements. Compile, track, and analyze data for completion of requests for proposals and ad-hoc reporting. Ensure contract compliance,accuratepricing, reporting, andmaintainup-to-date group membership information. Analyze contract sales and calculate all applicable administrative fees. Maintain contract agreement templates and workflow documentation, and support all policies related to contract activity.

You willalsoimplement new processes and procedures asidentifiedby the team and stakeholders to ensure continuous improvements for monitoring,detection, and response capabilities. You will help lead our mission to protect Solventum by collaborating with our key stakeholders and business partners to develop new strategies.

As a Contract Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Reviewing,analyzingand editing contract language to address business needs while protecting Solventum and minimizing risk
  • Providing counsel to business teams on various contracting methodologies and strategies
  • Consultingothers regarding Solventum business practices and policies as they relate to or impact contracting
  • Preparing for, andfacilitating, contract negotiations
  • Calculate commercial administration fees
  • Understanding andutilizingsystems and data to support businessobjectivesand to fulfill contract requirements
  • Create ad hoc reports; extract and analyze raw data to provide information requested bysalesteam, such as customer verification, product and pricing agreements, sales volumes, etc.
  • Understanding the impact of various changes in contractual languageand the ability to discussthose changes with impacted internal teams and management
  • Initiating contract implementation
  • Working collaboratively and effectively with a highly matrixed team to meet compressed timelines
  • Working with internal clients and external customers to reach resolutions to complexand nuancedissues

Your skills and expertise

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited institutionand
  • Five (5)years' experiencein business, technical, and/or legal contracting

"Nice to Have" Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry in the United States
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent communicationskillsand ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Good communications skills (verbal, written, presentation) with an ability to clearly convey complex information to diverse audiences
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to interact with both internal and external customers, with a focus on customer service

Pay Transparency

Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $73,600 - $101,200, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
