Sunshine Affordable Movers is seeking an experienced and highly motivated General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our growing moving company. This is a leadership role for someone who is organized, customer-focused, and passionate about building a high-performing team.

The General Manager will be responsible for managing operations, supervising employees, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving business growth while maintaining profitability



Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily business operations.
  • Manage dispatching, scheduling, and moving crews.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise office staff, drivers, and movers.
  • Ensure every move is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.
  • Handle customer concerns and resolve service issues.
  • Monitor company performance, expenses, and profitability.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards.
  • Coordinate truck maintenance and equipment management.
  • Develop operational procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Report weekly on financial performance, staffing, and operational metrics.
  • Help grow the business through outstanding customer service and operational excellence.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of management experience (moving, transportation, logistics, or home services preferred).
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Experience managing schedules, employees, and daily operations.
  • Ability to solve problems and make sound business decisions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
