Position Overview

Movement System Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our vibrant team in Lehigh Acres, Florida. In this full-time role, you will be instrumental in assessing and addressing the mobility challenges of patients within an outpatient rehabilitation setting. Work Environment

This role is based at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, equipped with the latest therapy equipment and resources necessary to facilitate effective patient care. The center operates Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling options available such as traditional shifts from 8 AM to 4 PM, 9 AM to 5 PM, or four 10-hour shifts. Our onsite environment fosters close interaction with patients and encourages teamwork among healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities, including detailed assessments of movement impairments, functional limitations, and overall progress.
• Develop and implement tailored therapy plans that address specific patient needs, drawing on your clinical expertise and knowledge of evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to create a cohesive treatment strategy aimed at enhancing patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on therapeutic exercises, pain management techniques, and preventive care strategies to promote long-term wellness.
• Monitor patient progress through regular assessments and adjust therapy plans as necessary, ensuring optimal recovery paths are maintained.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Movement System Physical Therapy & Wellness, our primary focus is on individuals seeking rehabilitation following injury, surgery, or chronic conditions. You will work with a diverse patient population, which may include athletes recovering from sports injuries, seniors seeking mobility improvement, and post-operative patients aiming to regain functionality. Your role will significantly contribute to their journey towards improved health and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one is essential.
• Demonstrated clinical skills with a strong foundation in patient assessment and treatment planning.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster strong relationships with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy practice, particularly in an outpatient or rehabilitation setting.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including both pediatric and adult patients.
• Familiarity with current rehabilitation technologies and treatment methodologies will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
