  • Responsible for reviewing and screening contractor workers submitted by agencies. 
  • Maintain an on-site presence to support the Contract Worker (CW) program and ensure a positive contractor experience.
  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for CWs 
  • Act as a liaison between the CWs, staffing agencies, local hiring managers and the Talent Solution team 
  • Escalate the resolution of contractor concerns, onboarding issues, attendance matters, and other workforce related needs
  • Partner with the local hiring managers on their contract worker hiring needs. 
  • Communicate offers to agencies for selected contract workers.  
  • Ensure correct markup rates are submitted. 
  • Work closely with agencies to ensure they are meeting the role requirements.  
  • Oversee contract worker onboarding with the agencies and ensure all requirements are met. 
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews cooperatively with the hiring managers and agencies.  
  • Maintain accurate and current applicant database. 
  • Assist the Talent Solution Team with other site screenings and duties as required
  • Other Duties as assigned.  
  • Location: This individual will sit on site in the Columbus, Ohio market
  • Travel: The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2 Optics 

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience 
  • Experience working with staffing or contingent agencies a plus  
  • Experience recruiting in a construction, industrial or a manufacturing environment preferred. 
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting  
  • Understanding of all selection methods and techniques. 
  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases.  
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to add value both independently and as a team member.  
  • Demonstrate professionalism with ability to engage effectively to build rapport across all employee levels; management, staff, customers, vendors, contractors and others. 
  • Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude. 
  • Use strong oral/written communication and organizational skills to consistently exceed internal and external customers’ expectations.  
  • Disciplined, detail-oriented, organized, and thorough self-starter.

The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This role requires sitting, use of hands and arms, verbal communication, and occasional physical movement such as stooping or kneeling. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. Must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required to do so. The employee may also be required to work in tight and confined spaces. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
