Job Summary
Private Coaches are expected to listen and understand what their client(s) are seeking during a private lesson or over a series of sessions. We are actively looking for a quality coach who can consistently deliver a transformative experience to their clients.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Respond to inquiries and schedule sessions independently that meet the client's criteria by email, phone or in person.
  • Monitor client's energy levels and support the athlete while promoting our core values.
  • Be curious and ask questions to further your understanding of what the client is hoping to gain.
  • Ability to develop coaching plans for a broad range of clients.
  • Present a plan for how that session or a series of sessions could progress over time.
  • Provide a transformative experience for the client.
  • Document private sessions thoroughly & consistently via the processes outlined to support the program department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Embody Movement's Core Values and foster a positive culture in our community.
  • Passion for working with athletes of all levels & ages to help further develop their unique needs.
  • Knowledge and experience in climbing instruction commensurate with the level for which you're hired.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with athletes, coaches, parents, and gym leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage client scheduling and admin responsibilities as needed.
  • Able to expand on content beyond the basics of Intro Series classes including content specialization and/or provide feedback for advanced climbers (approx. 5.11 to V6 range).
  • Proven track record of consistent admin.
  • <1 year of PC or similar experience elsewhere.
  • 10+ sessions per month and/or 50% recurring clients.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is a part-time hourly position with a starting pay of $27.50 based on the evaluation of your coaching skill set.
