Job Description

Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our service team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to manufacturer and dealership standards. The ideal candidate is efficient, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles
  • Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and performance issues
  • Complete repair orders clearly and efficiently, documenting all work performed
  • Perform warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintain productivity and efficiency goals set by the service department
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems
  • Communicate with service advisors regarding recommended repairs and timelines
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
  • Stay up to date with manufacturer training and certifications
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of automotive technician experience, preferably in a franchised dealership environment.
  • Strong diagnostic, repair, and maintenance skills across a variety of vehicle systems, including electrical, engine, drivetrain, suspension, and brake systems.
  • ASE certifications and/or manufacturer-specific certifications are preferred; willingness to pursue additional training and certifications required.
  • Ability to efficiently perform repairs while consistently meeting flat-rate productivity and quality standards.
  • Proficiency using diagnostic equipment, repair software, and dealership service systems.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to successfully complete pre-employment requirements, including background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) review, and drug screening.

Additional Information

Compensation:

  • $27.00 to $46.00 per flat rate hourly
  • Income potential up to $130,000 +

Schedule:

  • Full Time
  • Monday through Saturday availability
  • Sundays off
