Job description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Injection Molding Process Technician to join our dynamic team in Elgin, IL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the production process, ensuring that our injection molding operations run smoothly and efficiently. Pay is negotiable based on experience. Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts.
  • Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machinery and production processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to improve processes and product quality.
  • Document production data and maintain accurate records of machine performance.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an Injection Molding Process Technician or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of injection molding processes, machinery, and materials.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

You should be proficient in:

  • Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
  • Injection Molding Experience
  • Tool/Die/Mold Setup Experience
