Job description

Lot Technician/Porter

RideNow Forney is looking for a reliable and motivated Lot Technician/Porter to join our team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the safe movement and organization of units on our lotso the ability to confidently ride and handle a variety of powersports vehicles is a must!

What You'll Do:
  • Safely move and park motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and other powersports units around the lot, in the showroom, and in service areas
  • Assist with vehicle check-in and inspection upon delivery
  • Keep the lot neat, clean, and organized at all times
  • Help prepare units for customer delivery, including cleaning and fueling
  • Support the sales and service team with unit movement and logistics
  • Maintain awareness of the lot's layout and help manage inventory flow
  • Perform support tasks as needed
What We're Looking For:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be able to ride and maneuver motorcycles and other powersports units (including manual transmission)
  • Valid driver's license required, motorcycle endorsement preferred
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and safety
  • Punctual, dependable, and able to follow instructions
  • Previous lot porter, detailer, or inventory support experience preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be physically active throughout the shift
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to safely push motorcycles weighing up to 850lbs
  • Must be able to safely and efficiently move through the dealership premisesincluding indoor showrooms, vehicle lots, and service areaswhile maintaining awareness of moving vehicles, customer foot traffic, and showroom displays.
  • Must be able to frequently bend, kneel, crouch, and reach to perform job duties.
