Position Overview

This hybrid role combines responsibilities from both the Finance & Insurance (F&I) and Sales departments. The ideal candidate brings professionalism, financial acumen, and strong customer communication skills to support both the sale of motorcycles and the presentation and sale of finance and protection products.


This individual plays a critical role in ensuring a positive buying experience, securing financing, and helping customers protect their investment with tailored product offerings. Success in this role directly contributes to customer satisfaction, unit sales volume, and dealership profitability.

Sales Specialist Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Sales Process

  • Greet customers, assess needs, and guide them through the buying journey
  • Present and demo motorcycles, discuss specifications, and assist with trade-ins
  • Build purchase quotes, explain pricing, and assist in closing deals
  • Follow up with leads and past customers using CRM tools

Inventory & Marketing Support

  • Ensure showroom and website inventory are up-to-date and visually appealing
  • Assist with online listings, including photography and vehicle descriptions
  • Participate in demo days, track events, and promotional activities


F&I Responsibilities
Financing & Product Sales

  • Explain and offer financing options, submit credit applications
  • Present protection products: extended warranties, GAP, tire/wheel, etc.
  • Maximize per-unit profitability while maintaining a transparent, customer-first approach

Documentation & Compliance

  • Ensure all paperwork is accurate, complete, and compliant with state and lender regulations
  • Prepare installment contracts, warranty agreements, and titling forms
  • Submit loan packages, monitor funding, and maintain secure records

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with Service for bike prep, delivery, and add-ons
  • Support front desk or phones during high-traffic periods
  • Provide occasional coverage in related departments as needed

Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Track F&I penetration, finance approvals, and product performance
  • Identify trends and report performance to management


Qualifications

  • 5+ years in client-facing or sales roles (finance/insurance a plus)
  • Experience with consultative or value-based sales
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Familiarity with motorcycles; ownership or riding experience preferred
  • MSF certification, racing or community involvement a plus
  • Must be coachable, reliable, and aligned with our core values
