Job Summary:

The Booth Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimization of paint booths, sludge pits, and related chemical systems. This role ensures proper air balance, environmental compliance, and efficient workflow within production areas. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with industrial chemicals, air flow systems, and waste management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain paint booths to ensure optimal performance and safety

Monitor and adjust air balance systems to maintain proper airflow and ventilation

Manage sludge pits, including cleaning, disposal coordination, and routine inspections

Handle and apply chemicals safely in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on booth equipment and filtration systems

Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards

Keep accurate records of maintenance, chemical usage, and inspections

Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency

Qualifications:

Experience working with industrial chemicals and chemical handling procedures

Knowledge of air balance systems and ventilation controls

Familiarity with paint booths and sludge pit operations

Ability to follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE)

Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills:

Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial environments

Understanding of environmental regulations and waste disposal practices

Basic mechanical or technical troubleshooting skills

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and work in industrial environments for extended periods

Ability to lift and move materials as needed

Comfortable working around chemicals, fumes, and machinery
