Essential Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking a Bicycle Marketing Specialist with deep bicycle industry experience and a genuine passion for cycling. This role is responsible for planning and executing global marketing campaigns, managing key industry events and tradeshows, supporting product launches and go-to-market initiatives, and maximizing the impact of brand ambassadors and partners.
This is a highly collaborative, global role supporting North America, Europe, and APAC, and requires experience working across regions, cultures, and time zones.
Key Responsibilities
Global Campaigns & Go-To-Market
  • Lead planning and execution of global marketing campaigns
  • Partner closely with Product, Business Development, and Regional Marketing teams to ensure brand alignment and consistent messaging across markets

Tradeshows & Events
  • Own North America and key global tradeshow execution, including logistics, floorplans, booth layouts, and product displays
  • Ensure product storytelling and visual presentation are consistent, compelling, and aligned with brand standards
  • Develop and present concepts for engaging consumer and OEM elements to enhance shows
  • Attend shows to ensure seamless execution, engage with consumers and build relationships with brand partners and customers

Partner, Distributor & Ambassador Management
  • Proactively manage ambassador and influencers to ensure strong ROI and meaningful brand integration
  • Negotiate ambassador agreements, renewals, scopes of work and all required paperwork for documentation of campaigns
  • Manage content projects with ambassadors, creators and partners to support campaigns, launches, and storytelling
  • Leverage content and ensure we are getting the most exposure from the content possible across all platforms

Content, Social & Media Support
  • Support social media content planning and execution, including engagement across social platforms, forums, and comment sections
  • Actively monitor owned accounts and contribute to daily content
  • Actively monitor partner and competitive accounts to leverage insights and opportunities
  • Work with account managers and partners to gather marketing assets for social media, campaigns, and marketing materials
  • Manage trade publication relationships and paid media placements to support brand visibility and product launches
  • Work with third party content creators to generate sponsored content to tell Gates Belt Drive story

Requirements and Preferred Skills
  • 5+ years of marketing experience within the bicycle industry (required)
  • Proven experience managing global marketing campaigns and product marketing
  • Strong background in tradeshows, event planning, logistics, vendor management
  • Experience working with ambassadors, influencers, and brand partners, including contract negotiation and renewals
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with global teams across multiple regions and time zones
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to follow processes and procedures while maintaining accurate documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and timelines across multiple projects
  • This is a global role supporting North America, Europe, India, China, and APAC
  • Availability to engage with global teams across multiple time zones is required
  • Authentic bicycle enthusiast with a personal passion for cycling
  • Position is based in the Downtown Denver office. This is not a remote position.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

PAY & BENEFITS
  • Full-Time
  • Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000
  • Not Bonus Eligible
  • Relocation is not provided
  • Medical, Dental, Vision insurance and other voluntary benefit options: benefits begin on the first day of the month immediately following your date of hire
  • Eligible for 3 weeks of paid vacation + 11 holidays (9 scheduled & 2 floating) + 8 sick days. All vacation days are accrued
  • 401(k): 3% company contribution and additional 3% company match
