Job description

We're seeking a high performing, goal driven Powersports and Motorcycle Sales Manager to lead new business growth in our Powersports division.

This role focuses on developing and managing relationships with specialty and independent insurance agents as well as affinity groups, driving profitable growth and expanding market presence.

The ideal candidate is a competitive self-starter who thrives working independently, consistently exceeds sales goals, and knows how to build strategic partnerships that deliver results.

What You'll Do

As the Powersports and Motorcycle Sales Manager, you will prospect, develop and maintain motorcycle focused accounts for new business production.

Additionally, you will:

  • Manage the assigned US territory and/or have areas of responsibility assigned that are countrywide such as new business development of dealership, affinity accounts, and/or motorcycle agents.

  • Deliver new business sales through the use of all applicable distribution channels via implementation of an effective strategy for distribution of products.

  • Oversee operation and effectiveness of marketing and sales activities in area of responsibility.

  • Work closely with Product Management in the development and design of motorcycle and power sports insurance products to increase production; this may include recommending specific product changes, process improvements, and workflows along with geographical locations and agency/account management to maximize growth opportunities.

  • Maintain an awareness of industry trends, determines competitiveness of current products

  • Recommend and collaborate with corporate marketing in the creation and implementation of promotional, marketing, branding, and content activities for the motorcycle niche. Assist in measuring the effectiveness of these activities.

  • Research, recommend and establish marketing niches for motorcycle and powersports products. Ensure systems, processes, technology and service methods support the marketing efforts.

What it Takes

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Demonstrated marketing knowledge obtained from a marketing, public relations, or communications degree or equivalent experience.

  • 10+ years of related work experience in field sales.

  • Power Sports industry experience preferred but not required.

  • Extensive knowledge of consumer products marketing and specialty products combined with insurance industry experience.

  • Ability to meet the travel requirements of the job which includes 50%-75%, being 2-3 weeks per month on average within your assigned territory.

  • Exceptional communication, organization, creative problem solving and selling skills.

  • A competitive, goal-driven mindset with a strong desire to exceed targets and continually improve

  • The ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and take ownership of your results without constant supervision

  • A high level of integrity and accountability, earning the trust of both colleagues and clients through consistent, reliable performance.

  • Centrally located with easy access to major airport to support efficient travel within your assigned territory.
