We have an opening on the shock design team in Boonville, Indiana focusing on aftermarket motorcycle products. Join our dynamic team, collaborate with cross-functional experts, and play a pivotal role in revolutionizing the motorsports and automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of cutting-edge products for our renowned brand, including motorcycle and UTV applications.
  • Take an active role in collaborating with our talented team of engineers, technicians, and production staff to bring innovative solutions to life.
  • Stay at the forefront of the industry by researching and implementing new materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
  • Provide exceptional technical support to both customers and internal teams whenever needed.

Qualifications:
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in component and mechanical system design & development, preferably in motorsports, motorcycle, or automotive industries.
  • Possess a motorcycle license, along with significant riding experience.
  • Experience with fabrication equipment, parts installs on motorcycles, creating proto-type parts with lathes and mills.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CREO) and showcase knowledge of CNC machining processes and material science (a plus).
  • Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing principles.
  • Excel in communication and collaboration, thriving in a team environment where your contributions are valued and acknowledged.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with a creative and innovative mindset.
  • Ability to occasionally travel to Legend Suspensions' plant in Sturgis, South Dakota.
  • As a requirement for this position, all applicants must be eligible to work in the United States. Candidates must possess proper work authorization documentation in compliance with applicable federal laws.
