Nationally recognized Boating Industry Top 100 Marine Dealer & Powersports Business Power 50 Dealer is looking for a Powersports Technician to join their team at our Bismarck, ND Location.  Position offers an opportunity to work in a progressive, forward thinking expanding dealership.


Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Powersports Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of powersports vehicles, including motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and personal watercraft. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems on powersports vehicles.
  • Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot problems effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding service recommendations and repairs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in powersports technology.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in powersports or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a technician in the powersports industry or similar mechanical field.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Valid driver’s license; motorcycle endorsement is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
