The sports and entertainment portfolio at COTA is unmatched in the country with Formula 1 US Grand Prix, NASCAR and MotoGP attracting global fans during championship races on the famed Circuit and Live Nation producing over 20 headline concerts every year at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater. 


Job Description:

COTA is looking for an eager and highly skilled individual to join our fast-paced social media team. This person will create and post content, on COTA owned channels, at all of COTA's amazing events. Join our growing team and be a part of Formula 1, MotoGP, concerts at Germania Insurance Amphitheater, NASCAR, and so much more! 


Essential Functions:

  • Support content creation, working closely with the Marketing team 
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, prominent cultural conversations, new features/platforms and best practices 
  • Capture content with professional equipment
  • Edit and package top quality content 
  • Daily management of social channels and community management 
  • Measure, analyze and report on all social media activity on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis 
  • Keep organization's content management system up to date with organic social content plans and released assets for publishing 
  • Curate user-generated content and devise strategies

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Capable and driven to quickly learn new things and expand skill set. 
  • Proactive problem-solving skills: ability to anticipate obstacles and quickly generate alternate solutions/ideas, changing course as needed. 
  • Excellent personal organization skills with extraordinary attention to detail. 
  • Competent in personal time management and self-managing deadlines. 
  • Thoughtful communicator with polished verbal and written skills. 
  • FIA Drone Certified preferred. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree. 
  • 1-2 years' experience managing social accounts with 100k+ followers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Basic understanding of social media channels, specifications best practices, including, but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

Physical Demand & Work Environments:

  • Ability to stand, sit, use of hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to squat, bend, twist, push/pull.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
  • Work in extreme environments outdoors throughout the year
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud during events.
