Motion Pro Recovery Center is seeking a committed and fully licensed mental health therapist to join our team in Portland, Oregon. In this full-time remote position, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals navigating their mental health challenges, particularly within the context of our detox center. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience providing therapeutic services and hold a relevant bachelor’s degree. The annual salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $104,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.

• Conduct detailed assessments and screenings to identify clients' mental health conditions and craft personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique situations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies aimed at addressing specific psychological and emotional challenges faced by each client.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to promote effective coping strategies and recovery.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to deliver integrated treatment plans that ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Educate and support clients' families, fostering an understanding of the recovery process and enabling their active involvement in client care.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in accordance with industry regulations and ethical standards, ensuring continuity of care.

Our clients come from various backgrounds and experiences, each seeking support in their journey toward mental wellness, primarily in the context of detoxification services. As a therapist, you will work with individuals confronting addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders, requiring cultural sensitivity and specialized therapeutic approaches tailored to this unique population.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in a therapeutic setting, demonstrating a deep understanding of mental health disorders and treatment best practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that allow for effective rapport-building and encouragement throughout the therapeutic process.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, essential for collaboration with the treatment team and fostering a supportive environment.

• Experience within a detox or recovery center, working with clients experiencing mental health challenges alongside substance use issues.
• Specialized training in evidence-based practices relevant to mental health treatment, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• A demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and training in mental health counseling.
