Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the entire therapeutic process for your assigned patients, coordinating with physicians and the broader patient care team.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop and implement individualized care plans that prioritize goal achievement and patient engagement.
  • Provide hands-on physical therapy treatments, ensuring adherence to the physician's plan of care while utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.
  • Evaluate and monitor patients' therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status, actively contributing to the patient's overall care plan.
  • Guide patients in therapeutic exercises, techniques, and the use of therapeutic appliances or prosthetic devices, ensuring they are equipped to continue their rehabilitation outside of therapy sessions.
  • Organize and prioritize your caseload, determining daily staffing needs and facilitating smooth transitions and hand-offs with team members.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, managing chronic illnesses, or rehabilitating after injuries. Our approach focuses on creating personalized treatment strategies that empower patients through education and active participation in their care journey. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing patient outcomes by fostering a supportive and encouraging rehabilitation environment.

Qualifications
  • A valid license to practice Physical Therapy in Texas.
  • A Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required to be obtained within the first month of employment.
