Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Motion Flow Therapy, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough patient assessments to determine functional status and rehabilitation needs.
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, focusing on achieving patient-centered goals.
  • Providing direct therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, in accordance with the physician's plan of care.
  • Evaluating patient progress and adapting therapy techniques as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Educating patients, families, and caregivers on the use of therapeutic exercises and assistive devices to promote recovery at home.
  • Coordinating patient caseloads, managing daily staffing needs, and ensuring effective communication among the care team.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse set of patients recovering from various orthopedic conditions and surgical interventions, including both adults and children. Your role will involve applying evidence-based best practices to address individual rehabilitation goals, enhance mobility, and improve overall life quality for every patient you encounter.

Qualifications
  • A valid state license as a Physical Therapist.
  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, which must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
