Multimedia Designer – Social Media Content

The Multimedia Designer – Social Media Content is responsible for supporting development of innovative and strategically driven creative concepts for the Marshalls brand and translating them into finished social content to achieve marketing objectives and communicate the brand message in a uniquely fresh, memorable and persuasive way across various owned and earned social platforms!

Who We Are Looking For: You.

Content Development

  • Support in developing breakthrough social content and design consistent with the Marshalls brand strategy and in accordance with brand guidelines that drives traffic to stores and eCommerce site, as well as communicates Marshalls differentiated multi-channel brand strategy.
  • Partner with the digital design team to maintain and evolve the brand look and tone in social specific channels (organic and paid) including: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Affiliate partners.
  • Partner with designers & writers to capture video/photo content in our retail stores on a weekly basis and then edit content/apply kinetic typography.
  • Partner with Art Director on occasional brand photo shoots to capture video content and then edit video/apply kinetic typography.
  • Leverage digital design/platform knowledge to agilely concept and develop social media content for social channels.
  • Implement specific creative requests received through creative briefings at a rapid pace to meet the heightened demands of a fast-growing, dynamic business.

Creative Project Management

  • Collaborate with ACDs, art directors, designers, copywriters, brand marketing partners, project management, production, and studio departments to effectively meet project objectives, timelines/deadlines.
  • Monitor all assets through all stages of execution.

Creative Expertise

  • Demonstrate excellence in creative digital design specific to social media channels.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of digital graphic design, video editing, and motion graphics experience in a marketing setting required
  • BFA in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, or equivalent degree
  • Portfolio showcasing your work is required (please make sure to include in your application!)
  • Expert in Premiere, AfterEffects, Photoshop, and knowledge of various Adobe suites including Illustrator, Acrobat, and Microsoft Suite
  • Very knowledgeable in social mediums channels
  • In-the-know of social media trends in pop culture, and familiar with in-camera video transitions
  • Experience from concept to implementation
  • Passion for fashion

This position is hybrid requiring 2 days per week in the Framingham, MA office and is not open to remote.

This position has a starting salary range of $60,500 to $75,600 per year.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
